Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said on SiriusXM that Justin Wrobleski will start Game 1 of the Wild Card Series against the Cardinals.Wrobleski, 24, earned his first major league win on August 16 against the Cardinals, allowing just two runs on four hits in five innings of work.
The right-hander has a 3.91 ERA in 12 starts for the Dodgers this season.
Kevin Kiermaier's Home Run Proved the Difference
Kevin Kiermaier's three-run home run in the fifth inning proved to be the difference in the Dodgers' 4-1 win over the Cardinals on August 16.
The home run was Kiermaier's 18th of the season and his first since joining the Dodgers on August 2.
Kiermaier was acquired by the Dodgers from the Blue Jays for a player to be named later.
